Brasfield & Gorrie modeled and in 3D constructed the (not yet built) City Walk Skate Park in early 2021. I played skateboarding games as a child, so I thought it might be a fun idea to try and put the construction 3D model into a skateboarding video game.
By the time of completion, what I had come up with on my own had been to take an existing game, SkateXL on Steam, and mod the otherwise unmodded game at the time myself and replace one of the maps with my own creation. It was a little painstaking, making borders, instantiating what the player could or couldnt do wherever. However, it was a fun experience and it turned out perfect.
